Hi all,
I am Swapnil.I am from dehradun. A few days ago I started feeling discomfort in my chest and uneasiness in breathing. On 12th of May i got myself admited in medanta and Dr. Mohan, being a master of his subject, suggested VAT Decortication surgery based on my diagnosis.
The very next day surgery was performed and it was smooth and successful. Now for the next 10 days I have been instructed to exercise and get proper nutrition suggested by Dr.Tanya and exercises under Dr. Deepika.There were 2 chest tubes connected to my chest during surgery and now that they have been removed after 10 days I feel as good as new. Now I get to go home as healthy man

My father is 71 years old and he lives in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. He was suffering with breathing issue since 8 to 10 years and used to get treatment under pulmonologist Dr. Premkumar. Doctor identified bulla in the upper left lobe of the lung after a CT SCAN in year 2021. In the year 2022 after he returned from US, doctor suggested to undergo bullectomy operation and asked him to consult Dr Mohan Venkatesh of Medanta Hospital who was visiting Visakhapatnam.
Now the real miracle started when we met Dr. Mohan in the month of December 2022, he built confidence in my dad that he will become normal. We reached Medanta Hospital in Gurugram on April 6. He was operated on 10th April and got discharged on April 18th and we returned Visakhapatnam on the same day.
Now I want to tell that Dr. Mohan is such an amazing person. He is so simple and patient in explaining each and every details of operation like a son to a father. My dad went to several doctors for second opinion, but he got more worried every time he met them. But when he met Dr. Mohan the first time, he got so much confidence in first meet itself. The operation is performed with minimal invasion and this helped in speedy recovery, he was made to walk, cycle in 2 days after surgery. Now he is very normal and could do all his routine works.
